PILATES – MAT BEGINNER

This is a beginner class consisting of very gentle exercises done on a mat either a sitting or lying down position. The primary focus is on awareness of the spine, proper breathing, core strength & flexibility.

Classes can often use various pieces of equipment such as the Foam Roller, Magic Circle or Bands, to add further challenge or stretch the body as you progress into Intermediate Mat classes or Allegro Reformer.

This class is essential for all new clients, particularly before entering equipment.

PILATES MAT BEG / INTERMEDIATE

A blend of traditional Mat exercises utilizing resistance bands, fitballs, weights, foam rollers and magic circles.

This is a challenging total body workout that improves core strength, stability and balance including overall muscle tone and further prepares you for Allegro Reformer and Equipment classes.

You will be taking your shoes off for all Pilates sessions. Please wear socks at all times.

For safety on the Equipment Classes, it is necessary to wear grip socks. These socks provide grip to the equipment whilst you move and prevent slipping. We sell these on arrival.

For all new clients to our Studio, please arrive 10 minutes before class to complete the necessary paperwork and for us to help you get settled.

MIXED MAT / REFORMER

This class is excellent for new clients to our Studio wishing to explore Mat and Reformer together, where we explore both elements. This session is excellent for clients progressing into the next level, and not quite ready for a full Reformer class.
